Context

Lightforce is New Zealand’s fastest-growing solar panel installer. I worked with growth agency Double , to create to design a new generation of landing pages aligned with the company’s recent brand refresh.

Problem

The existing site needed to:

  • improve conversion from paid acquisition channels

  • communicate the benefits of solar clearly to homeowners

  • support multiple marketing funnels including social and retargeting

  • the previous experience lacked the structure and engagement needed to convert high-intent traffic.

Approach

We began by analysing:

  • competitor websites

  • acquisition channels

  • user journeys from ad click to enquiry

  • Working closely with the Lightforce marketing team, we mapped user flows and defined messaging before moving into wireframes and design.

Execution

The landing page design focused on creating a highly engaging, conversion-focused experience. Key features included:

  • interactive infographics explaining solar savings

  • calculators to help users estimate value

  • micro-interactions to guide engagement

  • bold illustrations and brand graphics

  • clear enquiry pathways

  • Multiple variations of the page were created to support different acquisition funnels including social ads and retargeting.

In parallel, I designed animated acquisition ads in multiple creative styles to test which approaches drove the strongest response.

Outcomes

The new landing page ecosystem significantly improved acquisition performance.

Results included:

  • 425% increase in conversion against previous website.

  • 800% increase in qualified leads attributable to acquisition ads.
