Context

Vend is a New Zealand–founded retail POS platform used by thousands of retailers globally. The product helps businesses manage sales, inventory and customer data through a cloud-based system.

Working with Vend, I led marketing design, developin creative and content that supported marketing campaigns and brand communication across digital channels, including a site-wide migration of the legacy website to a CMS platform.

I also spent a year product-side, working on UI design, user flows, and UX and working to create a design system for icons and illustrations.

Problem

As a SaaS product serving a broad retail audience, Vend needed creative that could communicate product value clearly while remaining flexible enough to support a wide range of campaigns.

The challenge was to develop work that balanced:

  • strong brand presence

  • clear product communication

  • adaptability across marketing channels

Creative needed to work effectively across digital campaigns, marketing content and brand touchpoints.

Approach

The work focused on translating product benefits into visual storytelling that would resonate with retail audiences.
