I worked on a large portion of King’s photography, design and digital output between 2015-2018.

A main focus during this time was updating Kings digital offering and website. Their instore point of sale, online store and email platform were intertwined with a dated website, which unfortunately couldn’t be replaced. I worked with a developer to investigate ways we could modernise their site without changing the platform - making sure not to disrupt user flow for online sales or for customers accessing a VIP area of the site.

I also worked with a digital agency to upgrade their email - allowing for greater control, responsive design and better analytics. I designed a range of emails that included VIP updates, gardening guides, sales and created a style guide for social posts.

Both updated platforms feature more white space and considered, responsive layouts. With greater legibility and usability, Kings readership and conversion rates rose considerably.
